(1934~2007) Peacefully at the SAH Oncology Unit on Thursday, January 11, 2007. Beloved husband of Carole (nee Barker) for 45 years. Much loved and cherished father of Jennifer Parton and her husband Sandy Ewing. Adored “Poppa” of Sydney Shelagh Ewing. Dear son of the late William and Gertrude Parton and loved son in law of the late John and Dorothy Barker. Survived by his brother Gordon (Phyllis) and sister Betty Roncato (Enzo). Bill will be sorely missed by his brother in law Ralph W. Barker (Anna) and sister in law Beverly Barcis (Paul). He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, January 14, 2007 from 6-9 pm and on Monday, January 15, 2007 from 1 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2 pm.
