Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, after a lengthy and courageous battle, at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at the age of 74. Beloved and devoted wife of Giovanni (John) for 52 years. Loving mother of Carla Buffone (Lou), Brenda Paciocco and John Paul Paciocco (Cathy). Cherished and proud Gramma of Adam, Jessica and Lucas Buffone, Andrew and Mikaela Chorney, Stefan and Paul Paciocco. Predeceaed by her parents Luigi and Assunta Stortini. Dear sister of the Honorable Ray Stortini (Mary Kay), late John Stortini (late Stella) and the late Leonard Stortini (late Gloria). Sister in law of Gina Paciocco (late Tony), Mario Paciocco (Olga) of Windsor, Genia Ferrara (late Casimiro) of Windsor and Mantaurino Paciocco (Finesia) of Milan, Italy. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Close friend of Cecilia St. Germain and Marcia Greco. Mom, your love and courage will live on through your children and grandchildren.
