Albert (Abbie) Owens passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 22, 2002, with his family by his side, at the age of 51 years. Beloved husband of Gigi. Loving father of Ted, Shawna Sidhu (Goldie) of B.C., Cindy Owens, Tammy Owens and Greg Owens all of Sault Ste. Marie. Grandfather of Jode and Jasline Sidhu. Son of Edna Chisholm (late Ted Owens). Son-in-law of Don Pott (late Evelyn) of Wawa. Dear brother of Greg Chisholm, Colleen Chisholm both of the Sault, Wayne Chisholm of Wawa and Karen Norwich of Toronto. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, July 26 from 2:00 p.m. until time of the memorial service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Phil Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Sault Area Hospitals Cancer Clinic would be greatly appreciated by the family.
