Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Beloved wife of Dr. Joseph Otero for 31 years and was predeceased by her son Jon David. Janet is survived by her step-children Lynn Marie Welch, Joseph G. Otero, Andrew Otero, William Otero and Douglas Otero. She will be missed by her grandchildren John, Megan and Elizabeth Otero and her great granchild, Esperanza. Dear daughter of Verena and the late John McLean. Sister of Heather Preston, Carol Thorold andMelvin McLean. A private family service will be held at Northwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758). Memorial donations made to your favorite charity would be appreciated by the family.
