Past away suddenly at home on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the age of 72. Sweetheart and best friend of his wife Alice. Dearest father of Norman, Lorraine Vallee (close friend Peter), Linda Filion (Gary). Dearest and cherished grandfather of Robert and Courtney Osborne, Krystle (John) and Adam Vallee, Katie, Lisa and Julie Filion. Great grandfather of Cavan. Son of the late Bert and Edna Osborne. Brother of Barry (Norma), late Francis, Leslie (Linda) and William. Merlind will be fondly remembered by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 11 am. Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
