It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Arnie on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice at the age of 77. Loving husband of Marian (nee Dukes). Predeceased by his parents Julius and Ona.  Dear brother of Louis (Gayle) and Tony (late Jura).  Son-in-law of Gladys Dukes and the late Ernie.  Brother-in-law of Brian Dukes (Judi), Jerry Dukes (late Remo Troietto) and the late Joyce Stewart (Bill). Special uncle of 12 nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705-759-2522) on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.  Memorial service in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorial donation (payable by cheque) to ARCH or to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.  Special thanks to all the staff at Marian's Bookkeeping and Tax Service for all of their support and love over the years. The family would like to thank the 13 doctors who looked after Arnie during the past 4 years, especially Dr. Kobelka for her compassion and care during many years. Heart felt thanks to Premier Homecare Services, home health workers from Care Partners, nurses from Bay Shore and the personal support workers from CBI Home Health and the staff at  ARCH.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 are requested to assemble at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Saturday, July 13, 2019  for a memorial service in the chapel at 1 pm for the late Arnold Okmanas.
