Passed away peacefully at Golden Birches Terrace, Blind River at the age of 91. Reunited with her husband John and sons Carl and Kenneth. Predeceased by her parents Rachel and Splendien Leger, and siblings Laurier, Aime, Aldoria, Dieudonne, Esperance Dore (late Joe), Aliondar, Anelda Lagueux (late Claude), Agnes Eckert (late Bill) and Marie MacMillan.
Lovingly remembered by her children Terry (Millie), Carolann Fournier (late Conrad), Ellis (Sheila), Randy and Darren (Rachelle). Much loved grandmother of Conrad, Deryk (Ashley), Kourtney (James), Jenna (Josh) and Tyler. Special great-grandmother to Patryk, Conrad, John, Rowyn and Jamie. Also survived by her loving sister and best friend, Gloria Raymond (Jean Paul).
The family of the late Rachel Nyman would like to thank the team at Golden Birches Terrace for the exceptional care and compassion provided to our mother during the past year and to Dr. Shamas and Father Clarence Jacob for their ongoing support. This journey has been made much easier for our Mom and family through your efforts.
A mass will be held at St. James the GreaterParish in Blind River on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm., with Father Clarence Jacob officiating. Luncheon to follow in the church hall for family and close friends.
