Peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at 74 years, surrounded by his wife of 41 years Kaija; son Pasi (Janet); sister-in-law Rauha Lustig and brother-in-law Jaakko Lustig. Brother of Raimo Nuutilainen (Maija) and Ritva Rissanen, both of Finland. A very special thank you to Kari Lustig and Irma Tuomi for their kindness and support. Many thanks to Dr. Sylvana Spadafora and the staff at ARCH for their compassion and excellent care. As per Veijo's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
