After a brave and determined battle with cancer, Linda found her peace on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Linda was very blessed to be surrounded by a large family, not one, but two combined. She ensured each member near and far, knew they were loved, and encouraged each of them to embrace life’s moments and celebrations. Her family finds comfort in the belief that Linda is now reunited with her partner of many years, Bob Farrell, her parents, Jack and Eileen Noble, step-mother Margaret Noble, big brother Jack Noble Jr, and step-sisters Kathy and Cindy Shepperd. Linda graciously anticipated the joyful reunion in Heaven’s Garden with her beautiful guardian angels, Kyle Gray (great nephew), Jennifer Leighton (great niece) and Billy Bob Adam (great nephew).

More than anything, Linda wanted to protect and care for her big sisters Carol Kukor (Tony), Ann Newstead (late Jim), and Eileen Mary Vanruyven (Harry) and cherished sister-in-law, Cheri Noble. She was also survived by step-brother Robert Shepperd. Linda was also loved deeply by members of the Farrell family. Linda took great pride in the connection amongst her families. The love shared between each family, collectively and individually, was of great importance to her. Linda took comfort in knowing that the “village” she built around her would always be there to support her family in her absence. Linda was blessed to be called Aunt by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and who deeply loved her back. Linda will forever be loved by the many friends true and dear that she has made throughout the community from the Construction Association, Habitat for Humanity, Sault Area Hospital (patient advisory, volunteer committee), Rotary and many more.

Although she retired professionally from Pioneer Construction after many years, she was proud to mentor and guide “her kids” as they learned their trade. She was also involved with many charitable organizations. Linda’s caring, loving and committed nature was reflected in her many friends that have spanned the decades. These loved ones were a significant part of her adventures and generosity.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to The Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen, Sault Search and Rescue, Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie or Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Inurnment at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Marymount Cemetery (5400 Highway 6, Guelph, Ontario). A Celebration of Linda's life with food and fellowship will follow at the Ennottville Library (7722 Sixth Line, Elora, Ontario).

Linda, you taught us to see the need and do what we can when we can to help those around us, to give a hand up and not a handout. This world is a little less bright without you in it, but we have an opportunity to be your hands and feet and carry on your mission of love as we reflect your spirit.
