Passed away peacefully on Saturday February 24, 2007 at the Extendicare Tendercare Nursing Home with her family by her side at the age of 84 years. Daughter of the late Nicola and Teresina Marrello. Beloved wife and constant companion of the late Domenico Nicoletta. Much loved mother of Nicola (Antonietta) and Giovanni (John) (Marie). Cherished and beloved “Nanna” of Domenic (Marisa), John (Shannon), Maria Guzzo (Guido), Domenic (Jen), David (Danielle) and Sarah (boyfriend Andrew Ewert). Sadly missed “Nanna Vecchia” of Emily, Nicolas, Michael, Juliana, Gabriel, and Serena. Sister of Mario Marrelli (Ida) of Toronto, late Giuseppe Marrelli (late Margerita), late Giovanina Briglio (late Gaetano), late Carmine Marrelli (late Anuzza) of Savuto di Cleto, Italy. Sister-in-law of the late Giovanni Nicoletta of Geneva, N.Y., Annina Caputo (late Luigi) of Italy, Cesira Castagnaro (Mario) of France, Antonio Nicoletta (Nella) and Maria Bernardo (Adamo) of the Sault. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Tuesday February 27, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum.
