Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the age of 96.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Alice Powley. Beloved wife of the late David "Harold" Newman. Loving mother of Karen Couturier (late Wilbert), late Irwin, Maureen Mason (Richard), Nancy Delavalle, Terry, Jacqueline Coutts (Alan) and Steven (Christine). Proud Grandma of Danny, Tammy, Maureen, Michael, late Willy, Colleen, late Robert, Vicky, Joseph, Jason, Bridget, late Jeremiah, Lori, Terri, Mark, Nick, Kelly, Tony, John Paul, Luke, Becky, Alana, late Aletha, Lee-anne, late Mathew, Jeremy, David, Shane and Dylan. Cherished "GG" of 40. Proud great-great grandma of many wonderful grandchildren. Predeceased by her 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Etta will be fondly missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews.
