It is with much sadness we announce the death of Silvio Nanne at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Dorina (Thibodeau). Caring and devoted father of Sylvia (Dennis Becker) and Debbie (Bruce Mitchell). Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Megan Parlowe and Emily, Nicholas and Olivia Guzzo. Son of the late Edward and Margaret Nanne. Brother of Gerry (Marilyn) and Ben (Lynda). Brother-law of Eleonore Castagne, late Aline DiGasparro, Henry Thibodeau (Eva), Adrienne Stephen, the late Bart Thibodeau, late Fern Thibodeau (Helen), Loraine Weeks (David) and John Thibodeau (Mariette). Silvio will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations made to A.R.C.H. (Algoma Residential Community Hospice) and SAH - Long Term Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. S. Buehner and the staff of the Plummer Hospital Rehab Unit for their wonderful care of Silvio.
