Born September 6, 1915 at Copper Cliff, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the Extendicare Van Daele Manor, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on Tuesday, December 30, 2003. Eldest child of the late Della May Campbell and Jean Baptiste St. Paul. Survived by Kenneth Myers of Kazabazua, Quebec, daughters Paula Myers Harrison (Ross) of Sault Ste. Marie and Michele Myers (John Field) of Kazabazua, Quebec, grandchildren Kenneth Steinbrunner (Diana), Michael Steinbrunner (Vickey) of South Porcupine and Paula-Marie Milne (Brian) of North Bay, great grandchildren Alexandra Gaudreau of Timmins, Keith and Kurt Steinbrunner and Rachel Marie Steinbrunner all of South Porcupine. Sister of Frances St. Paul McConnery of Kazabazua, Quebec and predeceased by sisters Della May Chilcott Peaker of Ottawa, Doris Elizabeth Pyke of Peterborough and brother William John St. Paul. Survived by cousin Norma Phillips Taylor of Timmins and numerous nieces and nephews in Ottawa, South Porcupine, California and Fox Creek, Alberta. Marie was a past Provincial President of the Federation of Women Teacher of Ontario, a fellow of the Ontario Teachers Federation and an active member of the Retired Teachers of Ontario until she became ill. She was a member of the South Porcupine United Church and St. Andrew’s United Church of Sault Ste. Marie. Friends may call at the McGarry Memorial Chapel, 139 Valley Road, Wakefield, Quebec on Saturday, January 3, 2004 from 1:30 pm until time of service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Jane Griffith officiating. Spring interment will be in Rupert Union Cemetery, Rupert, Quebec in the family plot. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer society, Van Daele residents Council or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
