Suddenly at home on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Lynn for 62 years. Loving mother of Debbie Fecteau (David) and Randy Murray. Proud Nanny of Doug Fecteau (Melanie) and Ashley Duoba (Andrew). Extremely proud Nanny of her great grandsons Teegan and Hudson Fecteau and Cooper Duoba. Predeceased by her parents Randal and Thelma Haight. Dear sister of Claude Haight, the late David Haight, late Clarence Haight, late Doug Haight and the late Fern Ambeault (late Wally). Sister-in-law of Billie and Linda Murray, Norma Bernardi (late Roy) and Mary Lou Bye (late Clifford). She will be missed by her special furry friend Sid and remembered by all her travelling lady friends.
Phyllis shared her life long love of music with others while being part of the Country Bumpkins and with family and friends. Her favorite instrument was the mandolin. We will never listen to Merle Haggard without a smile knowing she is singing along to one of her favorites.
A Celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation (payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
