Mousseau, Mrs. Vivian Irene (Scott)

Surrounded by her loved ones, peacefully passed away at the Plummer Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, on Friday, July 30th, 2010. Vivian Mousseau was in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late John P. Mousseau (deceased February 25th, 2010). Dear daughter of the late Roxie Frink Scott Green (Collins Bay) and William Frederick Scott (Westport), and step-daughter of the late Herb Green (Chalk River). Loving mother of Michael (Patricia) of Sault Ste. Marie, Paul (Kelly) of Great Falls, Montana, Jill McCaig (Grant) of Sault Ste. Marie, and Scott (Rita) of Toronto. Special grandmother to Joe (Wendy), Marie Finkbeiner (Russ), John Paul (Christy), Ken, Andrea, Alison ( Kyle ) and Matthew. Great grandmother to Katelyn, Michael, Jacob, Lorna, Ava, and Douglas.

Dear sister of Dennis Scott (Doreen) of Sault Ste. Marie, Sheila Maeck (Ken) of Spring Bay, Ontario, the late William [Bill] Scott (Ruth) and the late Clayton Scott. Step-sister to Alfred Green (Delphine) of Foxboro, Florence Reynolds (Clifford) of Chalk River, Muriel Winkler (George) of Belleville, and the late Lloyd Green and Shirley Jennings. Sister-in-law of Theresa Shaw of Sault Ste. Marie. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Peoples Pentecostal Church, 424 Second Line East, Sault Ste. Marie, on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment for Vivian and John will immediately follow at Hillside Cemetery in Prince Township.

Donations to the Cancer Society, CNIB, or Lighthaven Christian Retirement Home in Bruce Mines will be gratefully accepted.

Vivian was a graduate of the School of Nursing at Kingston General Hospital in 1948. She nursed for many years at the Plummer Memorial Hospital and with the Victorian Order of Nurses in Sault Ste. Marie.

John and Vivian celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on February 10th, 2010. The "French Man" and "the Old Bird" are together again with their Heavenly Father; healthy, happy, and whole.
