(January 4, 1937 – February 10, 2019) - Passed away with family by his side at North Shore Health Network in Thessalon, at the age of 82. Russell has joined his beloved wife Shirley and their loving son Wayne. Forever remembered by his children David (Debbie), Janet Siemens and Mark (Erin). Grandfather to Amanda (Greg), Wayne (Sam), Matthew (Bobbi Lyn), Patricia, Mariah (Lorne), Taylor and Courtney. Great grandfather of many. Survived by his siblings Annabelle Mitchell (the late Reid), Bob (Doreen) and Mary Fahrer (the late Percy), as well as his sister in law Betty Campbell (the late Jack) and many nieces and nephews.
In his younger years Russell was active in many sports including hockey, fastball, golf and curling. He especially loved shooting pool. He enjoyed the outdoors with his wife Shirley spending their time camping and riding snowmobiles and ATV’s.
The family would like to thank Erin for her devoted care and compassion. Thank you also to the Odd Fellows Hall.
