It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Leonard Samuel Mortimore at the age of 76, on Friday, September 9, 2011, with his wife by his side in Markham, Ontario. Loving husband of Joan (Hopkins). Cherished father of Terry (Betty), Don, Laurie, Randy (Karen) and Dale (Rochelle). Adored Papa to Melanie (Ryan) & Jennifer; Matthew & Amy; Sarah & Samantha; Wyatt & Kylie. Great Grandpa to Cohen. Dear son of the late Sadie & Sam Mortimore. Son in law to Amelia and the late Albert Hopkins. Brother of Marie Vanderwater (Blake) and the late Gerry (Karen) Mortimore. Brother in law to Arla & Don Hall and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
