MORTIMORE, Hazel April 26, 1924 - February 25, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Hazel at the age of 99.
Predeceased by her loving husband Robert Mortimore. Hazel was special friend and companion to Ellwood Martin. Proud mother of Ernie (Karen), Sandra Pigeon (Ted) and Alvin (Leona). Cherished grandmother of Cheryl, Carolyn, Albert, the late Melanie, David, and the late Robert. Hazel will be missed by her sister Addie (late Ivan). Much loved great grandmother of 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Hazel enjoyed a long life, and spent her final days at the Algoma Manor in Thessalon. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and care staff for their care and compassion.
As per Hazel's request a memorial visitation in her honour will take place Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522). on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm with prayers to follow led by Mrs. Helen Smith. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
