As captain of his vessel Dave sailed away on peaceful waters surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday November 1, 2006 at the S.A.H. General Site. Forever cherished by his loving wife, best friend and soul mate, Ardina. Devoted and loving father of John and Karen Morrison, Don and Sheila Morrison and Brenda and Todd Harrower. Proud grandfather of Melissa and Sarah, C.J. and Katie and Christina and Evan. Son of Edna and the late Kenneth Morrison. Brother of Susie and Bob Patton and Polly and Gord Grant. Son-in-law of Mabel and the late Russ MacDonald. Brother-in-law of Sheldon and Rolly MacDonald and Alvin and Bonnie MacDonald. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dave's family and friends will always remember his sense of humour and his passion for nature and the great outdoors. A celebration of Dave's life will be held at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Saturday November 4, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral and committal service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Mr. John Kaminski officiating. Memorial donations made to the New Sault Area Hospital Building Fund or to the House of Kin would be greatly appreciated by the family.
