October 2, 1946 - March 1, 2012 - It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Yvonne peacefully at A.R.C.H. on March 1, 2012, with her brother John and her husband Wayne by her side.  Friend, Partner, Love and Bride of Wayne Moreau since January 1, 1974. Yvonne was born at home Wednesday October 2, 1946 with Nurse Johnson as midwife. Youngest daughter of the late Albert and Yvette Laberge. Sister of the late Ted Laberge, late (Lynn), Mrs Carmel Masters (Wesley), late Fred Laberge (Rose), Mrs Barbara Byers late (Tod) John Laberge. Sister in law of Mrs. Wendy Ross (Mike), Gerrie Moreau (Elida), Mrs. Pat Stead (Geoff). Wayne and Yvonne never had children but she was extremely proud of her nieces and nephews and the fine adults they grew up to be. Yvonne was the Aunt of 20; Aaron Moreau, Mrs. Chelsea Polaro, Mrs. Janet Herbert, Ms. Leslie Stead,  Dr. Greggory  Laberge,  Ms. Peggy Laberge, Allan Masters, Mrs. Barbara King, Leslie Masters, Mrs. Sandy Antonello, Mrs. Becky Doyhan, Reg Masters, Mrs. Yvette Leonard, Mrs. Lee Anne Davidson , Mrs. Valerie Lethbridge, Douglas Byers , Derrick Laberge , Ms. Laury Ann Laberge, Mrs. Christine Brock, Jean Paul Laberge. Yvonne was the Great Aunt of 27; Mrs. Jodie Witherill, Mrs .Tracy Levar Figueria, Andrew Masters, Brian King, Mrs. Tarah Gallerno, Mrs. Tamar Hann Wesley Masters Jr. Tessa Masters, Jennifer Antonello, Holly Antonello, Cody Masters, Jake Leonard, Stephan Leonard, Nick Guitard, Jessica Guitard, Megan Lethbridge, Mitchell Lethbridge, Sara Byers, Jacob Byers, Andre Laberge, Keegan Laberge, Daniel Laberge, Robbi Lynn Daigle, Jasper Laberge, Owen Moreau, Evan Tacis, Chase Laberge. Great,Great Aunt of 4 little ones. Morgan Witherill, Maise Laberge, Cadeon Macrae and Owen Baxter. A heartfelt thanks to Yvonne’s most trusted Physician Dr. Daniel Fritz. Dr Sylvana Spadafora, Dr Sarwat Shehata (Sudbury) as Yvonne fought her seven and a half year battle. As Yvonne went through her journey, she often commented about the loving caring people she met on the way from the Cancer Clinic, Chemo Suite, Medical Day Care, Tele Conferencing, the monthly Lab visits and the Staff at Metro Pharmacy (Zellers plaza). The caring Staff at Community Care Access Centre, The Revera Home Care Nurses that criss cross the city and district to provide help and support. The compassionate and caring staff and Volunteers at A.R.C.H. “There are Angels among us” she would often say. Cremation has already taken place. A private Memorial Service and Committal will take place at Holy Sepulchre in the spring. Donations in Yvonne’s memory to the Ontario S.P.C.A. or Algoma Residential Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
