MOREAU, Dylan – With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Dylan on August 1, 2023, at the age of 31. Loved soulmate of Sarah. Father of Ireland, whom he loved with the entirety of his existence. Unconditionally loved by his mother Pamela Wood and father Rod Moreau (Cecile). He shared an inseparable bond with his siblings Megan (Chris), Raymond (Felicia) and the late Roger. Grandson of Viola, the late Leona and the late Ronald. Fun-loving uncle of Damon, Tatum, Lincoln, Briella, Ezra and Madilin. Dylan will be fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

What people will always remember about him is his contagious smile and so many other amazing traits: he was goofy, bold, incredibly brave, a cooperative dance partner, so genuine, a best friend, emotional, protective, an old soul, incredibly charismatic, and always “kid at heart”... ;). He would literally take a dart in the leg for you! You couldn’t help but be captured by his flirtatious smirk, smiling eyes and adorable dimples. He made a substantial impact on everyone he met.

The family would like to extend appreciation and thanks to the First Responders for their compassionate care.

A private family service will be held. Memorial donations would be appreciated for his daughter, Ireland (Survivor’s Trust, cheques to be made payable to “Pamela Wood In Trust”). Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758). www.northwoodfuneral.com

His family finds comfort in the belief that Dylan is now reunited with his Memere and Pepere, brother Roger, and cousin Cody.

Until we meet again.

“Carry on, my wayward son. There'll be peace when you are done. Lay your weary head to rest. Don't you cry no more.”

The Twenty Third Psalm

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want,
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul;
He leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
 for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies:
Thou annointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all
the days of my life: and I will dwell in
the house of the Lord forever.
