It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mother on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late Art Mooney. Devoted mother of Allan (Robin), David (late Janet) and Marlene (Frank). Very cherished gramma of Allan Jr. (Grace), Anita, Melissa (Chris), David Jr. ( Melissa), Megan (Cory), Adam (Lisa) and Amber. Proud great gramma of MacKenzie, Sydney, Brooke, Emily, Cole, Courtney, Cameron, Cheyenne, Kendrick and Elizabeth. Special friend of Arthur Kerr. Daughter of the late William and Gertrude Simpson. Predeceased by her siblings Phyllis Thaxter, Anna Bahry, Allan Simpson, Evelyn Smith, Roger Simpson, Jewel Martin and Lawrence Simpson. Auntie Carol will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Central United Church at 11:30 am. Rev. Laurie Milito officiating.
