It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Tony at Extendicare Maple View on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the age of 86.
Tony is now reunited with his dear wife Wilma Monchka. Beloved father Toni Mitchell (Lynn) and Errol Monchka. Loving Papa of Candace Mitchell, Carrie Mitchell (Nick) and Noah Monchka. Great Papa of Alyssa and Braden. Predeceased by his parents Nick and Katherine Monchka. Dear brother of Florence Korman, Stella and predeceased by Mike, Pete, Steve, Carl, Anne and Mary. Tony will be missed by his sisters-in-law Elaine and Joyce. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
At Tony’s request a private family service has taken place and he will be laid to rest with his wife. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
