Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Born June 13, 1938. Loving husband of the late Geraldine and loving companion of Madeline Kelly for many years. Devoted father of John Millar (Bonnie), Susan Lewis (Steve), Wendi Thorne (Paul) and Jennifer Gavey (Aaron). Father figure of Debbie, Darlene and J.J. Grandfather of Adam (Amanda), Lindsay (Angelo), Michelle (Thomas), Riley, Carson, Lucas, Rory (Rose), Robert, Abigail, Chloe, Joshua, Olivia, Elizabeth, Jeff (Ashley), Eric (Korri), Chris (Maggie), Courtney (Dan), Bryson (Laura) and Julia. Great grandfather of many. Predeceased by his parents John and Edith Millar. Brother of Donny Love (Bill), Steve Millar (Jane), Marilyn (Carl) and June Doiron (Guy).
Anyone who knew him, knew that he was passionate about his work and his love for the outdoors. Merv was always focused and determined in whatever he was doing (some might say he was lovingly stubborn). He will be dearly missed!
