Peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at the Sault Area Hospital Plummer Site. Loving husband of the late Joyce. Devoted father of Linda Hladki (Vince), Joanne Barton (Gary) and Sally Lillie (Randy). Nono of Joseph and Jessica Barton and Mikayla Lillie. “Special” nono of Bridget and Joanna Lamberts. Son of the late Joseph and Harriet Merolini. Brother of Carmel Tombari (late Arthur Sr.) and late Mary Ciferri (late Gino). Brother in law of Violet Danz (late Bud), late Gerald LaFontaine (late Lil), Jack LaFontaine (Cheryl), Honey Forsey (John), late Vince LaFontaine. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and friends. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, August 31, 2007 from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Society and S.A.H. Complex Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
