McPHEE, Connie (nee Hurley)

Passed away peacefully at the Plummer Hospital
on Sunday, July 27, 2008 in her 60th year, after a courageous battle with
cancer. Beloved wife and best friend for 40 years of Ralph. Loving mother
of Greg (Tania) and Shannon Tallon (Kevin). Loving Nana of Liam, Kyle,
Elisa-Marie and Cormac. Beloved daughter of Ross Hurley (late Marjorie)
(Margaret). Dear sister of Terri (Ann), Allen (Joyce) and Vivian Hall (Don).
Step sister of Douglas Smith (Sharon), Michael Smith (Sheila), Patsy Reid,
George Smith (Wendy), Gary Smith and Greg Smith (Lisa). Dear sister-in-law
of the late Wayne McPhee (Ann Marie), Bonnie Boston (Rae), the late Clyde,
Jackie Frolick (late John) and Andy (Brenda). She will be fondly remembered
by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Connie will be greatly missed
for her many talents and generous contributions to the community of Echo
Bay. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern
Road 945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial
service in the Chapel on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend
Rollie McLean officiating. Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations made to the Elk's Oncology Van, the Echo Bay
United Church Memorial Fund or charity of your choice would be appreciated
by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Walde, Dr. Spadafora and all the
caring health care professionals that were involved in Connie's care. Also,
thank you to family, friends and neighbours for all of their generous
contributions over the past 2 years.
