At Tendercare Nursing Home on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, George McPhail in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Jennie and the late Myrtle McPhail. Dear father of Yvonne Bolton (Michael) and Step father of the late Caroline Morrar (late John). Grandfather of Terrance Bolton (Colleen) and Kathleen Konrad. Beloved Poppy to Christine Thompson (Craig MacGillivray), Brian (Kim) and Ken (Lorri) Morrar. George is also servived by many Great and Great Great Grandchildren. Son of the late Gordon and Eva McPhail. He was predeceased by his sister Helen McIntosh (late George) and his brothers Neil (late Marjorie) and Donald (late Mary) McPhail. George retired as Senior Mine Rescue Officer for the Province of Ontario in 1978 after 32 years of service.
