January 1, 1990 – April 22, 2024 - It is with profound sadness and grief that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Chris due to an ATV accident.

If there is any consolation we can take away from this tragedy, Chris was doing what he loved being outdoors with his chums.  Christopher was such a big personality, a kind and beloved soul who touched the lives of many in both Ontario and Michigan during his short life.  Christopher was a friend to everyone. A kind and genuine person. His kind nature and hard work ethic, along with his intelligence and humour made him a force to reckon with. He loved life with all of his heart and loved his family, friends and work family with unparalleled passion.  His quick smile and wit would light up any room he entered and he would make everyone feel equally welcome and warmly accepted. He was very passionate about the outdoors and loved and lived to fish, ATV and snowmobile.

Christopher was the oldest of four and led by example, ensuring his siblings were safe and secure, especially Conner.  Christopher leaves behind his heartbroken family - brothers Cody and Conner,  sister Aubrey and parents Kelly and Rob. Grandson of Rick and Terri Elliott, Carol and Robert Tooley and the late Robert and Wilma McMullin.  Special love of Brenna and Brenson.  Very special nephew of “Uncle Mike” (they fished together endlessly) and Jillian; Penny Andrews (late Mike), Mike Lundrigan (late Pam), Pauline Spry McMullin, Trisha and Travis Barber, and his honorary aunt and uncle Angel and Junior Maniacco. Special cousin to Kelly, Sean, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Chelsea, Mason, Kevin, Emily, Taylor, Hope, Jacob and Bella.  Best friend of Alex, Nick and Moira and many, many more. We are sorry – there are so many friends we cannot list them all. He loved you all and we thank you for loving him and being his friend. You know who you are. Great grandson of the late Valeda and Raymond Overland, Tom and Astrid Elliott, Doreen Atkins and Howard Atkins.

Chris was humble, proud and did not like a fuss.

Please join us for an informal come and go to honour him on Saturday, April 27, 2024 for a Celebration of Life at the Machine Shop, 83 Huron Drive,  Sault Ste Marie ON from 3 pm to 7 pm. We want smiles, stories, and funny anecdotes and we ask you to share a toast to him.  Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522).  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the McMullin family.
