McMillan, Mr Allan Bryan

At the Sault Area Hospital, after a brief illness, on Monday October 29, 2012.  Allan McMillan of Bruce Mines in his 86th year, husband of the late Irene McMillan ( Brock ).  Loving father of Donald McMillan ( Mary Hashmi ) of Newmarket and the late Kathy Inch.  Special grandpa to Jason Inch of Thessalon. Dear son-in-law of Gord Inch ( Darlene ) of Thessalon.  Dear brother of  Margie ( late Guy ), and the late Wilbert ( late Margaret ), Malcolm ( late Alma ), Mamie ( late Les Jones ), Fanny ( Len Harnden ) and Manley ( Joyce ).    Dear brother-in-law of Verna ( late Clarence Brock ), and the late Elmer, Alex, William, Emma ( late Cecil Aelick ), Ida ( late Norris Bird ) and  Pearle ( late Cecil Cameron ).  Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Beloved cousin to many and fondly remembered by Irma McAllister and Kay Merrifield ( late Verne ).  Allan had many friends also that were special to him, especially Angus and Darlene McLeod.  He worked  for the Department of Highways for 29 years in the Bruce Mines area and retired in 1988.  Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Thursday, November 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm.  Funeral service in the chapel on Friday November 2, 2012 at 11 o’clock, followed by interment in the Sands Cemetery, with Pastor John Faulkner officiating.  Donations to the Algoma Manor Redevelopment Fund gratefully accepted.   www.beggsfh.com
