With heartbreak we announce the passing of our loving son, father, brother, grandson and uncle in Newmarket, Ontario on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the age of 54. Born in Sault Ste. Marie on November 8, 1968, he grew up as the youngest child and was always so charismatic. He had a mischievous spirit, a grateful nature, and genuine warmth; he made friends in minutes and was an artist of considerable talent.
Glen was the beloved father of his dearest daughter Morgan, whom he shared with his former spouse Brooke McLeod. He was the cherished son of Walter McLeod and Margaret McLeod. Glen leaves behind his brother Ian McLeod (Kathy) and his sister Lori Mei (William). Grandson of the late William and Mildred MacLeod and James and Loretta Devlin. A special uncle to his nephew, Julian and his many nieces Emma, Hannah, Allison, and Natalie. Glen will be greatly missed by many dear cousins, extended family, and close friends especially Jennifer McCreary.
If you knew our Glen you know that he had a great love for art, pop culture, trivia, and films. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family with his lively sense of humour. He was a fantastic fur dad to Chewie.
A Celebration of Glen’s Life will take place at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main Street South, Newmarket, ON) on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service to follow.
Glen will be entombed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Service details to be confirmed with the intention for a celebration of life in Spring/Summer of 2023. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
