It is with profound sadness and heartbreak to announce the unexpected death of Brian Gerald McIntomney who passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 13th, 2023. He was born on August 9th, 1961, and was 61 years old.

Father or ‘PA’ to Nicholas Farrish and Cassondra Farrish from Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Brian is survived by his father Gerald McIntomney (partner Kelly Brown) from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario and predeceased by his mother Jean Mance Gamble from Cochrane, Ontario. Survived by his brother Daniel McIntomney from Cochrane Ontario, and his two sisters Cheryl McIntomney and Angelique Mcintomney from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. He was an uncle, great uncle, and a wonderful cousin to many all over Sault Ste Marie.

Brian enjoyed music, carpentry, building, construction and helping others. He assisted those at Sault Ste Marie St. Vincent Du Paul Society and worked at Habitat for Humanity to help build homes in Sault Ste Marie. Brian had a great sense of humor and enjoyed putting jokes online that made many people laugh with joy. He was always friendly and said a friendly hello to people in the Station Mall while enjoying a coffee from Tim Hortons. He is a Great Light and a Great Spirit and will be fondly missed by all.
