Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday October 24, 2016, John McGrath at the age of 87. Husband of the late Audrey McGrath. Beloved father of Linda Gardner (Dave), Alison Hopkins (Warren) and the late Billy McGrath.  Grandpa of Craig and Michael Burlie and great grandpa of Kaylee Burlie. Survived by his sisters Mary and Catherine and predeceased by his many siblings. John was uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank Care Partners and the Dr.’s, nurses and staff of the Sault Area Hospital 3B for the care given to John. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Community Cancer Clinic.
