Peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, February 23, 2007 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Reta. Dearest father of Robert (Carol), Bruce (Maureen), Marion Avery (Bruce) and John (Beryl). Cherished grandpa of William (Kirstyn), Andrew (Ruth), Robin (Mark), Erin (Chris), Megan, Jennifer Avery, Kristen Avery, Sara Lampard (Greg) and Alison (Matt). Predeceased by infant grandson Brian. Proud great grandpa of Ryan and Shaun. Remembered by his nieces Betty Rae MacDonald (Earl) and Diane Mintz (John) and nephew Bill Kenshol. Predeceased by his sisters Orpha, Lillian, Dorotha, and Marguerite. Special friend of Marj Martin. Bill was a faithful and long-time member and elder of St. Andrew’s United Church and a founding member of Sault North Rotary Club.
