Peacefully passed away at Extendicare Maple View on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the age of 91. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Lorne. Cherished mother of Patricia McGarry-Roberts, Kathleen Haines (Peter), David (Vicky) and Stephen (Eileen). Proud grandmother of Sean (Grace), Hannah (Jacob), Lizzy, Jamie, Grace (Jeff), Billy, Michael, Josh (Nadeen) and fur grand baby, Bella. Great grandmother of Raymond, Emma, Kaisly, Collin, Cayia and Robert. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Thomas Piche. Sister of Raymond (Carole) and Ivan (Judy) and predeceased by Walter and Stella. Sister-in-law of Evelyn (Earle) and predeceased by many more. Olga will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and her good friends Mary and Jim Hunt.

Olga was very involved in her Church as well as the CWL for many years. Her faith ran deep, and she was dedicated to her Tuesday morning Prayer Group. Olga was a caring person and spent her free time volunteering at the Sault Area Hospital Gift Shop or lending a hand where needed to her friends and neighbours. Olga enjoyed bowling, square dancing, gardening and sewing.

Friends and family are invited to a Graveside Service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Columbarium on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Those who wish to take part in the procession are asked to be at Northwood Funeral Home by 10:45 a.m. Immediately following, all are invited back to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) for a Celebration of Life in the Lower Lounge until 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
