McEWEN, HERBERT ANDREW

February 11, 1928 - May 27, 2009 - Herbert "Herb" Andrew Joseph McEwen passed away at the age of 81 years,
after a brief illness, in Thessalon, Ontario on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Herbert is survived by his daughter Marcia McEwen; granddaughter Bridget (Tyler) Speelman and great grandson Jaxson Speelman all of Lethbridge,
Alberta. He is also survived by his brother James (Audrey) McEwan of Norland, Ontario and sister Edith (Jerry) Sullivan of Sault Ste. Marie. "Uncle Herbie" is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whose
generosity will never be forgotten. Herb was predeceased by his son Graham in 1976; and his sisters Irene (James) Scornaiencki, Yvonne (Dr. Daniel) Abessinio, Marie (Eric) Alessandrini, Kay (Jim) Chisholm and Dawn (Bob)
Brown . Herb's funeral will be held on Friday May 29th at 10:00 AM at the Algoma Manor in Thessalon, Ontario. Visitation from 09:00 - 10:00 AM at the Algoma Manor prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Herb's
name may be made to the charity of your choice.
