At St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake, Thursday, November 6, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Francis Xavier McCormick of Spanish. Dear mother of Christopher (Donna) of Mount Bridges, Andrew (Rose) of Sault Ste. Marie, Vernoica Charbonneau (Andy) of Algoma Mills and Martin of Forest. Dear grandmother of Jesse (Danielle), Cody (Alyssa), Frankie, Kerrie Ann Leblanc (Sean), Colin (Angela), Ian (Martina), Andrea (Gregory) and Trevor (Lynda). Great grandmother of 3, Autumn, Jarrod and Wade. Dear sister of the late Reginald and Norah of England. Dear aunt to Molly Thorne. Nellie loved nature, was an avid gardener, super scrabble player, loved baking, an accomplished knitter and was to be this year's Silver Cross Mother. She will be sadly missed. Many thanks to Dr. Larochelle, Archie and Bea Nesseth, Stephen Lang, Helene Pollock and Yvonne Lortie for their kindness during Nellie's life. Visitations will be held Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Our Lady of the Highway in Cutler, from 1 p.m. till service time at 3 p.m. with Deacon Peter Johnson officiating. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Spanish. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Spanish Medical Clinic would be greatly appreciated.
