George Robert McConnell passed away peacefully, in his 88th year, surrounded by family, at the Guelph General Hospital, Wednesday, February 5th, 2003. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joyce. Cherished father of Judy, Terry and Robert. Fondly remembered by daughter-in-law Sylvia, son-in-law Robert MacDougall, and grandson Craig. His laughter, kindness and love of life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A service will be held in the chapel of Greenwood Cemetery, Sault Ste. Marie, Saturday, February 8th at 11:00 am. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Sault Shrine Club.
