She was the proud Nany of her Grands – Andrew McColman (Bobby-Jo), late Billy McColman, Wendall Gustafson (Wanda), Frieda Labelle (Alain), Hilary McColman, Heather McColman (Jordan Ingram), Steven McColman, Kenneth (Kaisy) Shaw (Patty), Harold Shaw (Marie), Gregory Shaw (Deanna) and Richard Shaw (Sue).  Nana to her Great Grands – Brysin and Ashton Shaw, Nathan (Kaylyn), Justin and Bailey Shaw, Kennah and Jett Shaw, Reilly (Peter), Conor (Lydia) and Keegan (Taylor) Evoy,  Michael Shaw, Grace Gustavson, Dana Labelle, Paige, Walker (Jesselyn) and Sierra (Ray Duguay) McColman, Michaela, Cole, Caiden and Morgan Stewart, Noel, Jace and Nate Ingram.  Double Great Grandma to Jacob and Iris Evoy, Naomii and Aubrey McColman, Kenny Duguay and Braxton McColman.  Special Mom-in-law to Evelyn McColman.  Grandmother to Thomas and his girls Grace and Katy.  Special “Mom” to Rita Maines and Karen (Anderson) Bonany.

Rita McColman’s kindness and warmth was felt by all who knew her.  From her nieces and nephews, whom she always talked about fondly and her friends, now all gone, especially Marion Wismer, Vicki McPhee and Mary McGrath, with whom she cherished every moment of their friendship while living in Thessalon these some odd 90 plus years.

Now that she is gone, we start a new chapter in our lives remembering, with love and appreciation, all the knowledge of her 100 years she passed onto us.  You have taught us well Nany.

To all those on Pine and at reception, especially Judy of the Algoma Manor, thank you from the Shaw family.
