Passed away peacefully surrounded by love at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the age of 85.
We know there will be a joyous heavenly reunion with her late husband Ken (April 15, 2015). Loving mother of Jennifer Merritt (Roger), late Neil and Ian. Adored Nana of Alysha Critchley (Jake) and Brittney Merritt. Cherished great Nana of Kinsley Rae and Hunter Rose. Dear sister of Jimmy Stafford (Betty), Jill Nicolson (Bob) and the late Pat Johnston (late Warren). Predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joyce, Marnie, Judy, Monty, Geraldine, Richard, Rodney, Janet, Sharon and Jackie. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a proud and dedicated volunteer at the Sault Area Hospital for 40 years. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary at Willowgrove United Church, and also Laureate Alpha Omega Beta Sigma Phi.

God saw she was getting tired
and the cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around her
and whispered, “Come with Me.”
With tearful hearts
we watched her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly,
we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands laid to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Funeral service in the chapel at 1pm. Rev. Glenn Eagle officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
