Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the age of 85.
Loving wife of Norman for 67 years. Dear sweet mother to Linda Sue Macphail (Paul), late Randy McClelland, Debbie Burmaster (Bob), Terry McClelland (Susan) and Stephen McClelland (Jackie Spadafore). Much loved grandmother of Greg (Lauren), Cameron (Ashley), Clinton (Andrea), Courtney (Patrick), Suzanne (Hank), Jason (Lori), Melissa (Mike), Jasmine, Jake (Stephanie), Jeffery and Jasmine. Great grandmother of 15 and great-great grandmother of 5. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Susie Johnston. Sister of the late Joe Johnston, late Jim Johnston and the late Ken Johnston (Cheryl). Sister in law of the late Ted McClelland (late Betty). Joyce was an amazingly talented seamstress being able to create a dress just by looking at it. She was also a very talented knitter and tole painter. A graveside service and celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to ARCH or SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated.
