It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing away of Dr. Ross McCendie of Blind River at the age of 82. Dr. McCendie has practiced medicine in Blind River for the past 58 years. He leaves behind loving partner of 51 years Ed Menard, brother Cecil McCendie (Jeanne) of Sudbury, Gilbert McCendie (Faye) of Montreal and late sisters Audrey (Maurice) of Windsor and late Eileen (John) of Sudbury. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nephews & nieces. They will miss him dearly. Friends may call at the MENARD FUNERAL HOME, Blind River Wednesday, September 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held from St. James The Greater, Blind River Thursday, September 21 at 11 a.m. with Father Jim Ketzler officiating. Interment in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Regional Cancer Centre in Sudbury would be greatly appreciated.
