McCARTY, Ona Geraldine (nee Wyatt)

Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the age of 83.  Beloved wife of the late Lorne McCarty.  Loving mother of Janet Coutu (Chris), Danny McCarty (Ruth), Cathy McCarty and Susan McLellan (Ken).  Cherished grandmother of Dan Coutu (Jennifer), Bob Coutu (Cheryl), Sara Keats (John), Andrew McCarty (Sabrina), Adam McCarty (Kim), Arlen McCarty (Kialha), Jesse McLellan (Nikki) and Katie McLellan (Jordan).  Dear GGO of Madeline, Victoria, Annie, Griffin, Nathan, Helen, Lauren and Jacob.  Predeceased by her parents Edward and Jane Wyatt and her 11 siblings.  Ona will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are invited to visit at Hilton Beach Community Centre on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 11 a.m. until time of memorial service at 12 noon.  Memorial donations to the Hilton Beach Library would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758). www.northwoodfuneral.com
