Passed away peacefully at SAH March 31 in her 87th year surrounded by her loving family, beloved wife of Archie McCarrel and the late Herman Sequin and Russell Garniss. Beloved Mother of Derek Garniss (Gabriela), Irene Rogers (Don), and Bob Garniss (late Marg). Proud Grandmother of Darren Rogers, Linda Siklosi (Mike), Lori McNama (Kevin), Catherine Smith (Les) and Derek Garniss (Samantha). Great Grandmother of Steven and Brandon McNama, Kyle, Eric and Ellie Smith, Matthew and Cara Siklosi and Baby Garniss (due in Sept) that she dearly wanted to see. Beloved sister and best friend of Irene Adams. survived by Sisters in law Kit Carrie, Betty Jokinen, Phyllis Smith (Don) and Jean Robbins and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Violets wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service, cremation has taken place. Thanks to all the Doctors and Hospital Staff involved with giving our Mother the last extra year of life and especially the "Angels" on palliative care at SAH. Family and friends are invited to 43 Second line W. from 1-4 on Saturday.
