It is with great sadness that the family of Yvonne McCann announces her passing on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in her 96th year.
Cherished mother of Elaine Barber (Kevin) and the late Jeff McCann. Beloved wife of the late Donald McCann. Adored grandmother of Dan Barber (Danielle) and Laura Barber (Jason Pollard). Proud great-grandmother of Logan and Matty Barber and Wesley and Gwen Pollard. Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Florence Stone and her sister Justina Hutchinson (late Charles).
Born in Anerley, Saskatchewan, Yvonne was proud of her prairie roots and was a great storyteller of days gone by. She will always be remembered for her happy smile, her sparkling brown eyes and her devotion to her family.
Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Hamilton, Ontario.
