McCaig, Leslie Gerald

At the Sault Area Hospital, Les McCaig of White River peacefully passed away on Saturday August 4, 2012 at the age of 59.  Loving father of Richard (Nathalie) McCaig of White River and Kara McCaig (Mike Furniss) of McKerrow.  Survived by his loving parents Max and Mabel McCaig of Thessalon.  Dear brother of Allan (Sue) of Kingsville, Ron (Margaret) of Sault Ste. Marie, Keith (Cathy) of Dunrobin and the late baby Terry.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Les was an avid outdoorsman who made countless memories with his family and friends while fishing, hunting and trapping.  Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home located in Thessalon Onatrio Thursday August 9, 2012 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm.  Funeral service in the chapel on Friday August 10 at 11 o’clock. The family extends their thanks to Dr. Berry, Dr. Shafiee, the renal clinic and nursing staff for all their care.  Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Sault Area Hospital Renal Dialysis Unit gratefully accepted.
