MCBRIDE, Gary Allen
Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, December 11th, 2023, at the age of 82.
Survived by his wife Verna McBride. Father of Laurie Parr, Curtis McBride, Danny McBride (late Debbie) (Sharon), Kerry Marini (John) and Scott McBride (Tammy). Grandfather to Grant, Greg, Jamie, Tari, Gary, Cody, Heather, Marty, Alisha, Frankie, Emily, Tianna, and great grandfather of 24.
Son of the late Floyd and Florence McBride. Brother of the late Jean Sarlo (late Gino), Pat Van Daele (late Rodney), late Gerald McBride (late Lenore), late Elsie Renner (Bing), late Sharon Comrie (late Wayne) and Randy McBride (Laurie). Son in law of the late Harley and Ruth Sharpe. Brother-in-law to late Kyle Sharpe, late Dean Burns (late Randy), Wes Sharpe (Mary) and Don Sharpe (Gail). Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Gary was an employee of the City Board of Works for 35 years. He has been retired for 27 years.
A Memorial Service will take place with Helen Smith officiating. A Celebration of Life will take place on December 14, 2023, at O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St, SSM) from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
