Thursday, October 20, 2011 - Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, October 20, 2011 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Mervyn McBain. She will be sadly missed by her children Sherolyn (Brian), Neil (Stacey), Alan (Gina) and Nancy (Jerry). Grandmother of Ross (Tanya), Nikita, Sean (Simone), Ticia (James), Gord (Jessica), Greyson, Aidan, Jason, Aaron, Ashleigh and Amanda. Great-Grandmother of eight. Daughter of the late Hope & Herbert Ross. Special daughter of Shirley Skilling and the late Gordon Skilling. Sister of Bruce Skilling (late Judy) and sister-in-law of Hartland McBain (late Elsie) and Murray McBain (Dorothy). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited for a funeral service at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 11 am. Rev. Canon Earl Burke officiating. Private family interment on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Humane Society Spay/Neutering program or ARCH would be appreciated.
