MAZZOTTA, Pietro ‘Peter’

Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the age of 87.  Loving husband of Teresa for 61 years.  Dear father of the late Sal (Diane, Rick Guzzo), Carmen (Angela), Maria Hawdon (Ken), Nella Semczyszyn (Joe), Dino (Julie), Frank (Rhonda) and Joe (Carole).  Cherished Nono of Trisha (Omar), Tyler (Kara), Riley, Jerret, Julian, Caleb, Mike and Kim. Son of the late Salvatore and Maria Mazzotta.  Dear brother of the late Saveria, late Filomena, late Erminia and Frank.  Son- in-law of the late Carmelo and late Anna Giardino. Brother-in-law of Frank Giardino (Rita) and Emma Febbraro (Joe). Peter will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass at St. Gregory’s Church on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Brandon Doherty officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
