Beloved wife and best friend for over 50 years to Sylva Mayer. Precious mother of Kathryn and dearly loved mother-in-law to Bruce Maitland. Forever loved by grandchildren Bruce and Tisha. Daughter of the late Enid and Dalton Newman. Daughter in law of Annamae and the late Dolph Mayer. Sister of Harold Newman (Madelyn), Dave (Jack) Newman (Verena), Thomas Newman (Petra), Kathleen Gagnon (late Louis), and Robert Newman (Helen). Sister in law of Leo Mayer (Jean), Bert Holmes (Gloria), Chuck Holmes (Cathy), Fran Miron (George), Alona Nelson (Glen), the late Sonny Mayer, Colleen Laliberte (Mike) and Bill Mayer (Janet).
