Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Van Daele on Wednesday, January 05, 2005 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Annamae for 53 years. Dear father of Leo Mayer (Jean), Sylva Mayer (Patricia), Gilbert Holmes (Gloria), Charles Holmes (Cathy), Frances Miron (George), Alona Nelson (Glenn), Dolphus Mayer (Sonny), Colleen Laliberte (Mike) and Bill Mayer (Janet). Grandfather of 26. Great grandfather of 21. Brother of the late Leona Donaldson, Ada Duckworth, Clarisse Ranger, Oscar Mayer Jr., Chubby Mayer and Victoria Mayer. He will be missed by his feline companion Pearl. Remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, January 8, 2005 from 1 pm until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Paul Conway officiating.
